BAR Danro

A warm glow down a narrow alleyway marks the entrance to BAR Danro, an authentic, low-lit bar that fits seamlessly into the historic rhythm of Ningyocho. The drink menu spans classic standards mixed with precision—such as a crisp gin and tonic made with Tanqueray and Wilkinson tonic water—to vibrant concoctions spotlighting seasonal fruit like kumquat.

Among the standout offerings is the Bloody Caesar, prepared with savory Clamato juice. Served alongside seasonings such as salt, pepper, and savory sauces, it allows guests to adjust the spice and depth to their liking as they sip. Beyond mixed drinks, the back bar is stocked with malt whiskies, other spirits, wine, and beer. With food options on hand as well, it suits everything from an opening round of light bites to a nightcap as a 2 stop.

Near the front, a welcoming counter accommodates solo drinkers, while tables set further back can accommodate small groups, with reservations accepted. From Monday through Saturday, the bar stays open until 3:00, and visitors at the counter can also settle in with a cigar alongside their glass.
